Raise awareness of rural health disparities through outreach and learning
University of Florida's Future Healthcare Professionals of America (FHPRA) is a student‑run 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to healthcare in underserved rural communities. Our members include pre‑medical, nursing, public health, pre-PA and other pre-health students committed to careers serving medically underserved populations.
We partner with mobile clinics and community organizations to provide health outreach, education, and service experiences that prepare students to become compassionate healthcare providers while directly benefiting communities in need.
